Job Summary
Assist the Director of Therapy Operations in day-to-day operations of a therapy team, delegating and supervising tasks for therapist assistants and technicians. Manage staffing, scheduling, orientation, and training to ensure adequate patient coverage while maintaining open communication with hospital departments. Provide licensed discipline evaluation, assessment, care planning, and treatment for 80% to 90% of work hours. Create a culture that enables the hospital to meet its goals by holding staff accountable, motivating performance improvement, and mentoring clinical skills. Measure, assess, and drive continuous improvement within the department.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited therapy program
- Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership
- Minimum of two years of clinical experience
