Clinical Pharmacy Technician I

Under the supervision of a licensed Pharmacist, assists with ensuring smooth and accurate pharmacy operations in accordance with Option Care Health policies & procedures and state standards. Responsibilities include reviewing/validating basic prescription refill requests and processing according to policies, assisting with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies, maintaining equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning, testing, and reporting defects. Provides patient support by collecting basic information to plan materials, supplies, equipment, and prescriptions, and by answering basic patient questions. Manages inventory by receiving and verifying supplies, stocking, reviewing expiration dates, identifying shortages, picking/packing materials, creating tickets, and tracking inventory in applicable systems. Supports site and supplies maintenance, including cleaning and organizing work areas and laminar hood areas. Requires High School Diploma or GED and 0–6 months of related experience; successful completion of required training within 6 months (state-dependent); strong customer service, organizational, and basic computer skills (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
