Job Summary
Review and validate prescription drug refill requests, then process medications and supplies under a licensed Pharmacist's supervision. Collect patient information to plan materials and equipment, while answering basic patient questions to ensure a positive experience. Maintain equipment through calibration and inspection, and manage inventory by verifying incoming supplies, tracking expiration dates, and creating data entry tickets. Clean and sanitize surfaces, organize supplies, and schedule routine patient deliveries. Requires high school diploma, basic math skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Pay range $17.87-$29.78.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 0 to 6 months of relevant experience
- Licensed or registered within 6 months of hire (if required by state)
- Successful enrollment and completion of the OCH designated training course within 6 months of hire (if licensure and/or training course is required by the state)
- Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
- Able to perform basic & intermediate level mathematical calculations
- Excellent organizational skills
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Word (for example: opening a document, cutting, pasting, and aligning text, selecting font type and size, changing margins and column width, sorting, inserting bullets, pictures, and dates, using find and replace, undo, spell check, track changes, review pane and/or print functions)
- Basic level skill in Microsoft Excel (for example: opening a workbook, inserting a row, selecting font style and size, formatting cells as currency, using copy, paste and save functions, aligning text, selecting cells, renaming a worksheet, inserting a column, selecting a chart style, inserting a worksheet, setting margins, selecting page orientation, using spell check and/or printing worksheets)
- Basic skill level in Microsoft PowerPoint (for example: inserting, rearranging, hiding, and deleting slides, navigating between slides, increasing list level, adding, centering, and editing text, changing views, inserting a table or a note, moving objects, printing outline view and/or running a slide show)
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching
- Ability to carry at least 30lbs
