Job Summary
Senior Pharmacist applies advanced knowledge within the pharmacy with minimal instruction, leads in planning and project execution, mentors staff, and may perform staff pharmacist duties as needed. Responsibilities include ensuring OBRA compliance, supervision of the pharmacy team, maintaining records and policies, and enabling effective drug management and patient care through leadership and process improvements. Requires PharmD, licensure in good standing, and multi-state licensure privileges; two years of experience preferred. Works within Sanford Health’s rural health system framework across multiple locations with potential leadership and regulatory responsibilities.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- License must be in good standing by the State Board of Pharmacy in state(s) of practice and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges as required by position
- Two years of experience preferred
- Thorough knowledge of drugs and their actions; knowledge of state and local regulations
