Job Summary
Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides clinical pharmacy services to inpatients and outpatients in malignant hematology, with supervision of pharmacy technicians per SC Board of Pharmacy regulations; requires Doctor of Pharmacy (or PharmD) and completion of an ASHP-accredited residency or equivalent experience; licensure as SC Registered Pharmacist and BLS certification are required; role includes outpatient and inpatient pharmacy services in a major MUSC health system setting.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree or Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy
- Completion of a pharmacy residency (ASHP-accredited preferred) or equivalent experience
- Licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy (or eligible)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or equivalent within required timeframe
