Clinical Pharmacist (Weekends) – Behavioral Health Hospital

Job Summary
Provide pharmacist coverage for scheduled weekends and Director of Pharmacy PTO by verifying medication orders, assessing therapy appropriateness, and preparing dispensed medications with accurate documentation. Restock Omnicell cabinets, maintain floor stock inventory, and consult with physicians and nursing staff regarding medication therapy, interactions, and treatment recommendations. Answer medication-related questions from providers, nursing staff, and patients to support safe, compliant pharmacy operations within an inpatient behavioral health setting. Maintain a Monday–Friday 8:00am–4:00pm schedule with Saturday–Sunday 8:00am–12:00pm shifts and weekend on-call coverage from 12:00pm until 8:00am. Requires an active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing, with hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Active Arkansas Pharmacist License in good standing
- Excellent communication and independent decision-making skills
Desired Qualifications
- Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Behavioral health experience is a plus
- Experience with HCS and Omnicell is beneficial but not required
