Job Summary
Provide pharmaceutical care to support antimicrobial stewardship in the Emergency Department, including optimizing medication therapies; drug preparation and distribution for medications at Baptist Health Floyd; evaluate, input, and verify new medication orders; assist providers and other healthcare professionals by serving as a drug information resource; manage Pharmacy inventory.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy
- Indiana Pharmacist Registration
- ACLS Certification (Will Provide)
- ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency (Preferred)
- Board certification in pharmacotherapy, Emergency Medicine or equivalent (preferred)
- Hospital experience (Preferred)
