Job Summary
Clinical Pharmacist Specialist for Emergency Medicine focusing on antimicrobial stewardship and optimized medication therapies. Provides pharmaceutical care, drug information resources, and medication-order verification; performs drug preparation/dispensing, supports providers and healthcare teams, and manages pharmacy inventory. Requires PharmD/PhD-level education with relevant licensure and preferred residencies/certifications; on-site role located in New Albany, IN with full-time schedule (40 hours/week) and rotating weekend coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy with a minimum of a BS in Pharmacy with a PharmD (Preferred)
- Indiana Pharmacist Registration
- Hospital experience and completion of an ASHP-accredited Pharmacy Residency (Preferred)
- Board Certification in Pharmacotherapy, Infectious Disease or equivalent (Preferred)
- ACLS Certification (Will Provide)
