Clinical Pharmacist (Retail) - Dierbergs Green Mount Crossing (P/T Days)

Review, verify, and process medication orders to ensure appropriate dosing, scheduling, route of administration, and therapeutic use. Identify, prevent, and resolve medication-related issues, including drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, allergies, and contraindications. Oversee the preparation, labeling, dispensing, and delivery of medications while providing counseling and drug information to patients, families, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals. Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure timeliness and accuracy. Collaborate with physicians to optimize medication therapies and respond to complex inquiries. Adhere to established pharmacy policies, HIPAA regulations, and federal, state, and local laws governing pharmacy practice. Prioritize workload to meet patient, departmental, and operational needs. Participate in the training and development of pharmacy technicians, residents, and students. Part-time schedule of 28 hours weekly.
