Job Summary
Manage patient medication therapy by dispensing prescriptions, providing clinical counseling, and collaborating with physicians to optimize treatment plans. Maintain accurate inventory levels and ensure strict adherence to South Carolina Board of Pharmacy regulations while overseeing pharmacy operations during the first shift. Days vary with holiday and weekend rotation. Requires a PharmD degree, PGY1 residency, or two years of relevant clinical experience, with PGY2 residency and specialty certification preferred. Must obtain licensure within three months of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed and in good standing status by the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy to practice as a pharmacist or board eligible
- PharmD degree
- Completion of a PGY1 Pharmacy Residency or two or more years of relevant clinical experience
- Employed as a Clinical Pharmacist with SRH prior to 4/1/2018
- Must obtain South Carolina pharmacist license within 3 months of hire
Desired Qualifications
- PGY2 Pharmacy residency in applicable area of specialty
- Board of Pharmaceutical Specialties certification in area of specialty
