Clinical Pharmacist - Per Diem - Day/Evening - MRH

Coordinates and provides clinical pharmacy services to patients in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provides leadership and oversight to pharmacy technicians and other support staff for distribution, dispensing, and compounding of sterile and non-sterile medications and related supplies in compliance with accreditation, legal, regulatory and safety requirements. Delivers drug information to patients and healthcare providers, manages and recommends drug therapy regimens, reviews medication orders and labs to ensure safe and optimal outcomes, and may include renal/hepatic dosage adjustment, pharmacokinetic dosing, anticoagulation monitoring, total parenteral nutrition, and antimicrobial stewardship; supervises technicians to ensure timely verification, preparation, and distribution of medications and supplies. Competencies include accountability, clinical pharmacology, customer service, drug information & patient education, medication safety, patient- and family-centered care, problem solving, and adaptability. Educational requirements include an accredited Pharmacy program and Florida pharmacist license. This is a part-time per diem role at Memorial Healthcare System located in Hollywood, FL.
