Job Summary
Clinical Pharmacist — Mason Service Center — PRN: Participates in clinical programs and medication management to optimize therapy, ensure safe and cost-effective medication use, and maintain compliance with applicable rules and regulations. Performs medication reviews, supports pharmacy operations and order processing, engages in cost-containment efforts, collaborates with health care professionals, educates staff and patients, and may serve as a preceptor for students and residents. Provides education to pharmacy staff and ensures high-quality pharmaceutical services within the department and organization’s mission.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an ACPE accredited School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD (required)
- Maintains current license for pharmacist in the state(s) where practicing (required)
- ACLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (preferred)
- Immunization Certified (preferred)
- Pharmacy residency or 3 years equivalent experience; General pharmacotherapy certification (BCPS) or other certification approved by the Board of Pharmacy Specialties (preferred)
