Job Summary

Review transplant pharmacotherapy on interdisciplinary rounds for abdominal transplant patients, lead education for patients and healthcare professionals, and contribute to protocols, guidelines, and quality improvement projects. Assess patient needs and adjust drug therapy based on age and disease characteristics to mitigate adverse events, while serving as a departmental resource and liaison to physicians, nurses, and external groups. Manage medication use according to regulatory standards and actively participate in training residents and students. This role supports the Pharmacy and Transplant Departments within Mass General Brigham's inpatient setting, focusing on safe, effective, and prompt medication therapy for a specialized patient population.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Must complete 20 continuing education credits per year to maintain license
