Job Summary
Clinical Pharmacist in a hospital setting responsible for reviewing patient records, developing medication plans, and collaborating with physicians, nurses, and patients to optimize medication therapy. The role includes serving as a drug-information resource, precepting students/residents, presenting in-services, participating in quality-improvement initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and using pharmacy systems (Epic, Micromedex, Omnicell, ScriptPro, Baxa). Requires a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and active state licensure; PGY-1 residency and 2+ years of clinical experience are preferred. Located at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Saint Louis, MO; 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school of pharmacy (required)
- Current pharmacist license in the applicable state of practice (required)
