Job Summary
The Clinical Pharmacist supports Medicare programs and initiatives, works with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver quality medication management, and participates in patient care strategies in healthcare settings. Requires Doctorate degree, NC licensure, and at least 2 years of pharmacy experience.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Licensed in the state of NC as a Pharmacist, required
Desired Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree and residency, preferred
- 2 years of relevant pharmacy experience preferred
- Ability to gain and maintain access to Hospital/Data or Electronic Medical Record systems
- Strong knowledge of organizational Care Management principles, documentation requirements, and performance guarantees
- Knowledge of Medicare Shared Savings Programs (MSSP), Medicare Advantage (MA), Commercial and Medicaid Plans and the role of pharmacy
