Clinical Pharmacist (3:30PM - 12:00AM ET)

Job Summary
Review and approve prescription orders, dispensed medications, and ancillary warnings while ensuring accurate drug, dosage, and packaging details are entered into proprietary patient profiles. Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, families, and healthcare providers to address medication-related problems, explain care plan options, and discuss side effects or contraindications. Oversee pharmacy technicians to maintain compliance with state and federal laws, manage inventory, ensure proper medication storage and security, and rectify any incidents involving quality assurance, HIPAA violations, or fraud. Prepare and compound medications according to policy and legal requirements, while documenting all care decisions and billing actions efficiently.
Required Qualifications
- BS in Pharmacy
- A current, active license in the state of NJ
- Must be registered or eligible to become registered with the appropriate State Board of Pharmacy
- 2+ years of experience in pharmacy distribution and packaging
- exposure to geriatrics and/or chronic care management
- Proficient with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong technical and computer skills to navigate proprietary and other pharmacy software
- Demonstrated experience with problem-solving, conflict resolution, and project management skills
- Detail oriented and organized with the ability to work with a sense of urgency, work under pressure, multi-task, and achieve deadlines without sacrificing quality
- Strong analytical skills with good clinical judgement and decision making

- full-time position with an expectation to work an average of 40 hours per week
- be available outside of normal business hours to meet customer expectations on an ad-hoc basis
- Rotating holiday schedule required
- Travel may be required for special organization or department events, department team meetings, trade shows, conferences, and other client engagements
- This is a remote position
