Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations to assess strength, range of motion, and functional capabilities, then develop and update individualized treatment plans aligned with rehabilitation goals. Deliver interventions including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to alleviate pain and enhance mobility for older adults, surgical recovery patients, and those with chronic conditions. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic care while educating patients on injury prevention and home exercise programs. This onsite role in Lee's Summit, Missouri, runs Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Missouri state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Excellent clinical reasoning abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team-oriented environment
- Compassionate approach with a patient-centered focus to care
- Physical capability to assist with patient mobility, maneuver therapeutic equipment, and maintain an active presence throughout the workday
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program, English major preferred
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an outpatient setting
- Previous experience in developing personalized therapy programs
- Engaging patients through effective communication and support
