Job Summary
Clinical Operations Specialist provides clinical and operational support, functioning as a Medical Assistant/Non-Surgical Clinical Assistant as needed, while also serving as a Front Desk Receptionist. Responsibilities include greeting patients, verifying insurance and referrals, scheduling, billing/cash handling, maintaining patient flow, updating charts, coordinating with physicians and ancillary departments, preparing documentation, and ensuring timely claims submission. The role requires reliable, punctual service, and involves regular travel between West Chester and Malvern offices to support office operations.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED minimum education requirement
- Active National Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required
- Current CPR certification required
- Minimum 1 year in a medical office environment
- Medical office procedures and terminology
- Computer skills including MS Office Suite
- Experience with scheduling and billing systems and EMR preferred
- Basic medical assistant skills including phlebotomy, handling of body fluid samples, removal of sutures and OSHA regulations preferred
