Job Summary
Oversee daily clinic operations for rehabilitation services across multiple sites, coordinating with clinical dyad partners, local supervisors, and external providers to ensure seamless patient care. Direct administrative and professional staff in implementing clinic policies, managing annual budgets, and optimizing personnel and financial resources within allotted expense limits. Lead quality improvement initiatives, monitor patient satisfaction, and address consumer concerns while adhering to regulatory standards and strategic health plans. Facilitate staff development through training needs identification and foster a collaborative, positive work environment. Prepare annual budgets in collaboration with finance partners and the Executive Team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's Degree or higher is preferred
- Certification through the American College of Healthcare Executives, Medical Group Management Association, or similar organization is preferred
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in clinic management or other health care administration is required with a bachelor's degree or 3 years with a master's degree
- This experience should include the supervision of professional staff and financial management (includes budget preparation and management)
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field can be substituted for 3 years of clinic/healthcare administration experience
- In-depth knowledge of clinic practice management including staffing and clinic organization, scheduling, and patient flow
- Working knowledge of the revenue cycle, facilities management, and other infrastructure areas impacting the clinic
- Knowledge of leadership and management principles
- Knowledge of TJC, CMS, HIPAA, and/or other governing body regulations
- Knowledge of liability and risk management principles
- Administrative, supervisory, and organizational skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills including cultural sensitivity
- Negotiation and conflict resolution skills
