Job Summary
Navigate academic health systems, NCI-designated cancer centers, and community clinics to integrate SignateraTM into multidisciplinary GI tumor boards and clinical pathways for colorectal, pancreatic, esophageal, gastric, and hepatobiliary malignancies. Partner with internal oncology team members to formulate strategic account plans, optimize patient identification workflows, and resolve client issues as a clinical concierge. Drive test adoption and volume growth through targeted provider education and high-level clinical dialogues across the Southeast region. Requires frequent travel (up to 50%–75%) and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of direct oncology or molecular diagnostics experience
- experience in GI oncology, colorectal surgery, or molecular testing
- Associate degree
- 7 years of direct oncology experience
- Valid driver's license
- safe driving record
- Ability to confidently engage and speak the language of medical oncologists, surgical oncologists, gastroenterologists, and pathologists
- Understanding of their distinct clinical priorities across GI cancer care
- Proven track record of working effectively in highly cross-functional matrix environments
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to translate complex molecular ctDNA data into actionable clinical utility
- Autonomous, forward-thinking professional
- Strong business analysis skills
- Keen grasp of healthcare business and reimbursement trends
- Deep, pre-existing knowledge of the local oncology market
- Knowledge of key institutional networks, NCI centers, and community GI oncology practices
- Robust understanding of oncology molecular diagnostics
- Understanding of next-generation sequencing (NGS)
- Understanding of liquid biopsy
- Understanding of molecular residual disease (MRD)
- Understanding of the broader landscape of personalized medicine in GI solid tumors
