Job Summary
Review patient health history, assist with examinations, and document procedures in the Loogootee Family Medicine office. Perform patient registration, manage telephones, room patients, and conduct point-of-care testing as requested by the provider. Cover duties consistent with the community's needs while reflecting the clinic's healing ministry. Requires current Indiana registration for RN or LPN, or CMA/CCMA certification with one year of experience. Schedule includes Monday through Friday, 40 hours weekly, with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Must have successfully completed at a minimum, a certified/registered medical assistant program
- preferably, one year of experience in a physician office/outpatient clinic
- Completion of a Medical Assisting certification program
- One year of clinic experience required
- completion of the CMA Resident program at Memorial Hospital
- Must have successfully completed an accredited licensed practical nurse training program
- current registration in Indiana required
- CPR Provider-C
- Must have successfully completed an accredited registered nurse training program
- current registration in Indiana required
- CPR Provider-C
