Job Summary
Manage a team of registered dietitians to guide patients, families, and facility staff on medical nutrition therapy. Build relationships with physicians and nursing to support patient satisfaction and achieve quality care. Provide leadership that fosters morale, passion, and respect while completing nutritional assessments and interventions using evidence-based practices. Educate patients, families, nursing, and food service staff on nutritional needs and manage clinical QAPI projects. Document patient assessments and communicate with physicians on nutritional status. Work 1 day remote per week with a starting salary of $78-82k plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Food and Nutrition or related field
- 3+ years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of regulatory standards
- Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software
- Ability to interact with individuals of all backgrounds
- Effective written, spoken, and non-verbal communication
- Service-oriented mentality with a focus on exceeding expectations
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor
- Ability to quickly make sound decisions and judgments
- Self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize projects and needs
- Willingness to provide support where needed to achieve outcomes
- Demonstrate integrity, respect, and discretion in all business dealings
- Attention to detail and ability to effectively manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption in place
