Job Summary
Clinical Nursing Supervisor provides clinical and administrative nursing leadership within a hospital setting, including facilitating the nursing process, assuming operational authority in emergencies, overseeing nursing staff in the absence of the manager, coordinating assignments (including one-on-one Observation Assistants), bed management liaison, and cross-department problem resolution. Requires a BSN and MA nursing license, with a minimum of 4 years’ acute/tertiary care experience and at least 1 year in a preceptor/resource role, plus leadership capabilities. Per diem role with rotating 8-hour shifts, holidays, and weekend coverage; potential signing bonus.
Required Qualifications
- BSN
- Current license to practice nursing in Massachusetts
- Minimum of 4 years’ current experience in an acute care/tertiary care facility
- Minimum of one year of experience in the clinical preceptor and/or resource role
- Demonstrated Leadership potential
- Knowledge of current management principles
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
