Job Summary
Guide students through hands-on clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities and mentor future nursing professionals. Evaluate student performance, identify academic or behavioral challenges, and offer remediation. Contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program improvement while maintaining professional growth and staying current with best practices in clinical care. Participate in university events including staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation. This part-time role involves 1–2 clinical shifts per week per academic term for an RN with a Master's degree in Nursing located in the Northern Utah area.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (unencumbered) in the state of Utah
- Master's degree in Nursing (BSN and either in an MSN program or willing to begin one also considered)
- 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2–3 years of teaching experience
