Job Summary
Guide students through hands-on clinical instruction in local healthcare facilities while inspiring, mentoring, and evaluating future nursing professionals. Support student learning by identifying academic or behavioral challenges and offering remediation, and contribute to ongoing curriculum development and program improvement. Maintain professional growth by staying current with best practices in clinical care and participate in university events including staff meetings, pinning ceremonies, and graduation. This part-time role requires one to two clinical shifts per week per academic term for an RN with a Nevada license and a Master's degree in Nursing.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (unencumbered) in the state of Nevada
- Master's degree in Nursing (BSN and either in an MSN program or willing to begin one also considered)
- 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience
Desired Qualifications
- 2–3 years of teaching experience
