Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards; focuses on wound and ostomy care; promotes patient and family centered care, education on illness management, and post-treatment home care; participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and professional development; develops and documents individual care plans with clear goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family; assesses patient needs and preferences, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care; safety-sensitive role with ability to work evenings and the rotating weekend schedule; organization is Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center.
