Clinical Nurse Wound Care

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment. Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family. Uses critical nursing skills to assess and address physical, psychosocial, emotional, spiritual, and cultural needs; ensures communication of the plan of care across the continuum. The role is safety-sensitive and requires maintaining a high level of alertness and safe practice. Education path includes Nursing Diploma/Associate's with RN licensure; Bachelor’s preferred.
