Job Summary
Provides direct patient care activities for vascular access in both inpatient and outpatient populations using ultrasound-guided techniques to place PIVs, midlines, and PICC lines. Performs assessment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of vascular access devices, including restoring catheter patency and addressing mechanical/positional issues. Training during orientation to develop competency in ultrasound for vascular access. Opportunities for advancement through RN Career Ladder with salary increases aligned to expanded responsibilities. Role requires 24/7 coverage with shift hours 11:00 PM–11:30 PM and every third weekend rotation. Emphasizes patient and family-centered care, safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; involves education of patients and families, collaboration with interprofessional team, and documentation of plans of care. Role is open 24/7 with Magnet Hospital qualifications and ongoing professional development. Qualifications include RN license; minimum education Nursing Diploma/Associate's; preferred Bachelor’s Degree; preferred experience <2 years; includes benefits such as medical/dental/vision, 401k, and sign-on bonus up to $7,500.
