Job Summary
Lead daily nursing operations and supervise clinical staff on the stepdown unit, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centered care and regulatory compliance. Manage staffing, scheduling, workflow, and resource utilization while coaching, mentoring, and evaluating nursing personnel. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement and operational excellence, assuming full unit leadership responsibility in the absence of the Director or Nurse Manager. Provide direct patient care as needed within RN scope of practice. Full-time nights shifts (7p-7a) with a $36.75–$55.70 hourly rate and a $10,000 sign-on bonus available for qualified candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Current and valid state Registered Nurse license
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience
- Current Basic Life Support certificate (BLS) upon hire and maintain current
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) upon hire and maintain current
- Non-OB Facilities – NRP Required 90 days after hire and maintained
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred
- Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certificate preferred for Intensive Care
- Professional Certification within 2 years of hire, preferred
