Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Specialist in Neurological Sciences & Stroke provides advanced clinical expertise, acts as a clinical expert, and conducts education and consultation for staff, patients, families, and physicians. The role focuses on evidence-based practice, education, and developing clinical practice, with duties including direct patient care, consultation, educational services to patients and professionals, and conducting scientific investigation and research. Preference given to Emergency or ICU experience and to candidates with 2+ years of nursing/leadership experience. Schedule is Monday–Friday with no weekends or holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Nursing CNS program)
- RN license
- Clinical Nurse Specialist certification
- prefer 2-5 years of nursing, charge or leadership experience
- Doctorate in Nursing preferred
