Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Specialist role focusing on infection prevention and control within St John of God Midland Public Hospital. Partners with Infection Prevention & Control Manager to drive program implementation, lead improvement initiatives, and provide expert clinical advice across the organization. Requires RN with AHPRA registration, infection control qualification (or in progress), and experience in infection prevention in acute care; emphasizes leadership, policy development, education, surveillance, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient safety and staff wellbeing. This is a permanent part-time position (0.9 FTE) with salary pro rata around $129,203 plus superannuation, and offers flexible benefits and development opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration
- qualification in Infection Control (or working towards)
- experience in infection prevention in acute healthcare setting
- strong communication and leadership skills
