Job Summary
Implement innovative alternative solutions to address complex system and patient care issues while serving as a clinical expert in perioperative patient care delivery. Integrate research into the clinical environment through evidence-based practice and develop, coordinate, and evaluate educational programs for patients, staff, and the community. Act as a change agent within a multi-disciplinary team to establish system performance standards that improve perioperative patient outcomes. Advance practice of nursing in accordance with facility, state, and federal regulations, supported by a Master's degree, CNS certificate, and three years of clinical expertise.
Required Qualifications
- Certificate Post-Master's Degree CNS certificate if MSN was not focused on the application of the CNS role
- Required Master's Degree Clinical focus program as a CNS
- 3 years Clinical area of expertise
- Required Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board
- Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance As Required by Unit
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED
