Job Summary
Clinical Nurse Specialist – Emergency, Trauma, Surgery responsible for acting as the clinical expert and promoting evidence-based practice. Provides direct care and consultation in patient-care management, educates and supports clinical practice, conducts scientific investigation and research, and collaborates with staff, patients, families, and physicians. Strongly preferred Emergency or ICU experience with 2+ years of nursing, charge or leadership experience. Role emphasizes educational services to patients, families, community and health care professionals and ongoing development of clinical practice.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Nursing (CNS)
- RN
- Certification as Clinical Nurse Specialist
