Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), APS or NPS for Cardiac Specialty Care Unit (CSCU), Cardiology Acute Care, 0.6FTE

Provide leadership, clinical expertise, education, program development, and consultation to promote standards of nursing practice within the Cardiac Specialty Care Unit. Collaborate with leadership to develop patient care criteria, assess health needs, and evaluate nursing interventions to achieve optimal outcomes. Facilitate problem-solving and decision-making to influence the development, implementation, and evaluation of unit goals. Adhere to CNS core competencies defined by the National Clinical Nurse Specialist Task Force and the American Nurses Association. Maintain current Washington state or Multistate RN license, Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP-CS) license, and Clinical Nurse Specialist certification through AACN or ANCC. Hold valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, with Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required for specific areas including Cardiac Intensive Care and Critical Care Float Pool. Instructor Certification required within 12 months of hire.
