Clinical Nurse RN - Surgery - Sharp Grossmont Hospital - Variable Shift - Full Time - Eligible for New Hire Relocation

Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families, utilizing the nursing process for individualized, goal-directed care that incorporates the mind, body, and spirit. Coordinate care through systematic planning, timely information exchange, and active communication with the multidisciplinary team to prioritize resource demands and manage complex, multi-system disease. Act as a preceptor and teacher, guiding new nurses and students while identifying and supporting appropriate patient needs, including cultural and language barriers. This role requires a California Registered Nurse with at least one year of clinical experience and AHA BLS certification. Schedule includes variable shifts with 10-hour rotations, weekend requirements as needed, and on-call duties. Qualified external new hires relocating from over 100 miles outside San Diego may be eligible for a $5,000 relocation incentive.
