Clinical Nurse RN - Neuroscience ICU - Sharp Grossmont Hospital - Night - Full-time - Eligible for up to $10K in New Hire Incentives

Provide direct and indirect nursing services to patients and families in the Neuroscience ICU, managing complex multi-system disease and complications of treatment. Coordinate care using systematic planning and timely exchange of information with the multidisciplinary team, while prioritizing demand for resources and meeting individualized patient needs. Utilize critical thinking to quickly recognize diagnoses, identify risks, and adjust care plans as patient and family needs change. Perform safe, therapeutic, and efficient care for patients with complex neurological conditions, including advanced skills and emergency situation management. Act as a preceptor and teacher to guide other nurses, students, and travelers, while offering incidental teaching and constructive feedback to improve team performance. Document care comprehensively and participate in quality improvement initiatives to maintain regulatory and accreditation standards.
