Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Operating Room

Clinical Nurse in Pediatric Operating Room providing direct patient care in the OR, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care. Promotes patient- and family-centered care, educates families on post-treatment needs and medications, ensures patient safety and regulatory compliance, participates in professional development, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop and communicate care plans across the continuum. Responsibilities include advocating for safety, quality improvement, and contributing to the BJC Nursing Career Ladder; role is full-time with three 12-hour shifts per week, start at 6:45am, with on-call and holiday rotation. Minimum requirements include RN licensure and a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; BSN is preferred and may be associated with higher ladder levels.
