Clinical Nurse - Pediatric Float Pool

Provides direct pediatric patient care across units as part of the Float Pool, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Educates patients and families on illness/injury management, post-treatment home care and medication administration. Participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities; collaborates with interprofessional team to develop and document individualized care plans; communicates plan of care across the continuum. This is a safety-sensitive RN role at St. Louis Children’s Hospital with night shifts, weekend commitments, and 24 hours per week. Requirements include RN licensure and an associate degree or nursing diploma; bachelor's degree preferred and two years of acute care experience preferred.
