Clinical Nurse - Part time Nights

Clinical Nurse on the Part Time Night shift at Barnes Jewish West County Hospital’s 2100 Inpatient Unit (Med/Surg 2: Orthopedic, Spine, Urological, Plastics) focusing on direct patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation within established nursing standards. Provides education to patients and families, collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, and supports safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Role involves inpatient postoperative care, discharge planning, and ensuring communication of the plan of care across the continuum. Nursing responsibilities include administering medications, coordinating with case management, physical therapy, dietitian, pharmacist, and other professionals to deliver high-quality patient care; requires ability to work nights, participate in every-4th-weekend schedule, and operate as part of a learning ladder with opportunities for career progression.
