Clinical Nurse PACU Weekend Option (Saint Louis)

Conduct direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neuro, transplant, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients in a 90-bed PACU. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs according to standards of care, maintaining a constant state of alertness as a safety-sensitive position. Work 12-hour shifts (Saturday-Sunday 0700-1900 or weekday 0800-2030) with 24 hours of call per six-week schedule.
