Clinical Nurse PACU

Provide direct patient care in the PACU including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards. Promote patient and family-centered care, educate patients and families on post-treatment home care and medications, and participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs; support the recovery of neuro, transplant, ortho, ENT, cardio, vascular, thoracic, trauma, and spine patients. This safety-sensitive role offers opportunities for cross training and professional development within a Magnet-equipped hospital environment.
