Clinical Nurse Ortho

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing standards. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment and educates patients and families on illness/injury management, medication administration, and post-treatment home care. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family. Uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while ensuring patient safety and regulatory compliance. The role is safety-sensitive and includes opportunities for professional development, leadership, and progression on the BJC RN Career Ladder.
