Job Summary
Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room for Acute Critical Care Surgery/Trauma and related specialties (OTS, plastics, orthopaedics) as part of a weekend-option, 0.9 FTE schedule. Responsibilities include assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care; patient and family education; ensuring patient safety and quality/regulatory compliance; collaboration with interprofessional team; development and documentation of individual plans of care; and contributing to professional development. Shift is 0830-2100 with weekend coverage (Saturday and Sunday) and one weekday shift as needed; no call requirement; six-month preferred experience in related field; benefits and career-ladder opportunities; Magnet-certified facility in Saint Louis, MO.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
