Clinical Nurse Operating Room Surgery Center

Provides direct patient care in OR and GI procedure settings, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Conducts patient and family education on treatment, home care, and medication administration. Partners with interprofessional team to develop and document care plans, ensuring patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs and supports the patient across the continuum of care. This role advances within the BJC RN Career Ladder through professional development and leadership opportunities, with emphasis on caring for patients at the top of their license. Safety-sensitive position requiring alertness and safe practices. RN license required; Nursing Diploma/Associate's is minimum education with Bachelor's Degree preferred; no call, holidays or weekends; 4/10 hour shifts, start early with occasional late shift; comprehensive benefits.
