Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in the OR and GI procedures, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation within nursing standards; develops, documents, and communicates individual plans of care with the interprofessional team and patient/family; educates patients and families on post-treatment care and medications; promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development and aligns with the BJC RN Career Ladder to advance within the nursing role.
Required Qualifications
- RN licensure
- Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree (minimum)
- Bachelor's degree preferred (BSN)
- Experience: No experience required; preferred <2 years
