Clinical Nurse Operating Room

Job Summary
Provides direct patient care in the perioperative/operating room setting, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for surgical patients. Collaborates with interprofessional teams and families to educate on post-operative care, medication administration, and discharge needs. Develops and documents individualized plans of care, communicates across the continuum of care, and participates in patient safety, quality, and regulatory activities. Works in a fast-paced environment with evaluation of physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, while adhering to standards of nursing care and pursuing ongoing professional development. RNFA/RN and ST roles may be involved in assisting on complex procedures. Position is safety-sensitive, with shifts on Weekdays (3/12-hour shifts, 0830-2100), no on-call, and no weekend requirements. Education requirements include Nursing Diploma/Associate's; Bachelor's degree preferred; Magnet hospital affiliation noted; Missouri license required.
Required Qualifications
- RN license
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience preferred 0-2 years
- Perioperative nursing experience preferred
