Clinical Nurse Observation Unit

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care within standards of nursing care. Promote patient and family-centered care by educating families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while addressing patient preferences and cultural values. Participate in activities promoting patient safety, quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development. This safety-sensitive role requires a constant state of alertness.
