Clinical Nurse Minimally Invasive PCU (Saint Louis)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate care for post-operative and intermediate patients in a 28-bed Minimally Invasive PCU. Educate patients and families on illness management, home care needs, and medication administration. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team. Monitor patients with frequent assessments, including those with tracheostomies and stays ranging from 1-5 days. Promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while participating in professional development. Work in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness within a collaborative team supported by dedicated PCT coverage and an RN mentor.
