Clinical Nurse Med Surg Unit Nights

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the standards of nursing care for a Medical-Surgical unit. Delivers patient- and family-centered care, educates patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care, and collaborates with an interprofessional team to develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess patient needs across physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural, and population-specific dimensions; promotes patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; participates in professional development; and works on a night shift in a 16-bed Med Surg unit. This role is safety-sensitive and requires RN licensure; a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree is required, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Location: O'Fallon, Missouri. Sign-on bonus eligible; full-time position.
