Clinical Nurse Med Surg Unit Nights

Provides direct patient care on a 16-bed Med Surg unit during the night shift, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care. Conducts patient and family education on illness/injury management and post-treatment needs, administers medications, and documents plans of care. Collaborates with an interprofessional team to ensure patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance; develops and communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care; uses critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, emotional, and cultural needs; supports ongoing professional development.
